Just made this for supper and it is soooo yummy!!!!

Made playdoh today with the kiddos...

We started the day out with reading from the bible and discussing it and prayer... but then we decided to teach today by making play doh...

What a lot of people forget is you can teach your kids the basics through fun activities at home.

So all four of us made homemade play doh.

recipe

1 cup of flour

1 cup of water

1/4 cup of salt

10 drops of food coloring

1 tbs. of oil

2 tsp. of cream of tarter

mix all together then heat over medium heat stirring constantly until it forms a thick dough

Then need until smooth

Now through out this activity we did math problems, reading and comprehension! And it was FUN to the kids. If they enjoy what they are doing they will remember it better!

Now we don't do this every day but we are going to try to do this at least once a week to give the kids something different then the normal book work etc.

A sweet letter to God..

Before Christmas break we finished up one of our bible lessons by having the kids write a letter to God and I had to share what my seven year old wrote...

Dear God,
You have done what you said you would. You have made lots of stuff, like trees, leaves, earth and dandenlions. And you made us. I love you and I wish I could be with you soon. You keep us safe and help people get to heaven. I was hoping sometime we could come with you. I hope everybody can go to heaven safely. You have done a lot of amazing things you have kept us safe during tornados. I love you and honor you I pray I will come to heaven soon!

love,
Quenten
